Scutterbugs
for pre-school age children
A fun session developing self-expression through movement and song. Includes percussion and singing to develop musical awareness, co-ordination and rhythm in a friendly and relaxed environment.
Infant and Junior Singing and Rhythm sessions
for infant and junior school children
Cheltenham
These sessions develop musical awareness, coordination and voice work through Dalcroze and Kodaly techniques. We encourage musical expression through improvisation and give a fun introduction to music theory.
Recorder Starters
for infant and junior school children
Gloucester
The recorder is the perfect beginner wind instrument, with typical progression to instruments such as flute, clarinet, saxophone and oboe. Sessions based around the Musicland series.
String Starters* and String Ensemble
For beginner to grade 1 string players

Sessions putting singing and rhythm skills into practice on a string instrument.
Junior and Intermediate String Orchestras & Chamber
For grade 1 to 5 string players
Cheltenham
Sessions introduce orchestral technique and ensemble playing through exploration of different musical styles and periods.
Wind and Brass Ensembles
For grade 1 to 5 wind and brass players
Sessions provide specialist tuition in small groups exploring a range of repertoire. There is the opportunity to play with the intermediate strings when appropriate.
Associated Board Theory Sessions
For grade 1 to 5 musicians.
An essential for those wishing to progress through the Associated Board exams.

Music theory is fun! The ABRSM Theory sessions involve interactive music theory grounded in musicianship taught in a practical way. Students are put in the appropriate group to suit their knowledge. The classes prepare students to take ABRSM written theory exams if they wish to.
